My name is Roland Foster, Jr. I was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 3, 1987. The major in college
that I am currently pursuing is Criminal Justice with an advanced degree in Law. My career goal in life is to
become a lawyer that will help defend the rights of others and to help express the social, economic, and
moral standards of society’s aspirations. As a lawyer I will have to make decisions intelligently in terms of
legal rights and obligations. The members of my family include my two parents Arthur Roland and Theresa
Roland. I have one older sister named Takia Whitehead, and my identical twin brother named Rolando
Foster.
My interests are in the stock market, creating new business ideas and plans, and finding other ways to
make future investments for my long term goals. I am also interested in the area of grant making,
computers, and gardening. I had the privilege to play golf at my high school in placed at the state level. I
would like to thank the Tournament of Friendship scholarship for providing funds to help assist with my
educational endeavors.
